I was born in Singapore, I started learning classical piano at the age 6. I first started writing music for the Chinese Pop Songwriting industry and was the lyricist for Taiwan singer 阿桑 for the song 你的世界 (Your World) in her first album release in Taiwan. I had the chance to be a part of the Singapore songwriting competition S-Pop Hurray in 2008 where my song was one of the 2 finalists featured in the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
I am currently at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Music Synthesis. I have been constantly pursuing my passion in scoring to picture. I have composed for jingles, animation and film for students at Massachusetts College of Art, Emerson College, Rhode Island School of Design and independent filmmakers. Some of these have been featured in festivals like the Damah Film Festival in Seattle, the California International Animation Festival and the Lola Kenya Screen Festival in 2009.
